Notes on Kaliyev and Turcotte
Arthur Kaliyev and Quinton Turcotte are two of the Kings' most promising young players. Kaliyev is a skilled winger who had a breakout season in 2022-23, scoring 21 goals and 22 assists in 82 games. Turcotte is a center who missed most of last season with a shoulder injury, but he is expected to be a key player for the Kings this year.
Both Kaliyev and Turcotte have been impressive in the preseason, and they are expected to play a big role for the Kings this season.
Kaliyev is a dynamic offensive player who can create scoring chances for himself and his teammates. He has a great shot and is also a good passer. Turcotte is a strong two-way center who can play both offense and defense. He is a good skater and has a good hockey sense.
The Kings are hoping that Kaliyev and Turcotte can continue to develop and become key players for the team. If they can, the Kings could be a playoff contender this season.
