Warriors finish 3-1 in scrimmages

The regular season tips off next week for the Boys’ Basketball team, and the Warriors are ready to get started. They finished their scrimmages with a 3-1 record, with wins over Northview, Southview, and Start. Their only loss came to St. John’s Jesuit.

Young team looking to make some noise

The Warriors are a young team this year, with only two seniors on the roster. However, they are led by a talented group of juniors and sophomores, including All-Ohio guard Sean Moore. Moore averaged 20 points per game last season and is expected to be one of the best players in the state this year.

In addition to Moore, the Warriors have a number of other players who can contribute, including junior forward Cameron Young and sophomore guard Ethan Althoff. Young is a physical presence inside, while Althoff is a sharpshooter from beyond the arc.

The Warriors will open the regular season at home against Perrysburg on December 2.
