Week 9 WR Start' Em or Sit' Em: Start-Sit Advice for Every Fantasy-Relevant Wide Receiver in Every Game

Week 9 byes are starting to clog up the waiver wire and create numerous potential fantasy lineup headaches.

With the Saints, Jaguars, Browns, Titans, Vikings, and Commanders on bye in Week 9, multiple starting wide receivers will be unavailable to fantasy owners this week and need to be replaced.

With several questions and scenarios for potential lineup replacements, here is a deep dive into how to approach the wide receiver position in Week 9 with start/sit advice.

Start 'Em

Justin Jefferson (MIN) vs. Cardinals

The absolute WR1 overall through eight weeks, Jefferson has caught 8+ passes in every game, has seven receiving touchdowns, and has put up at least 92 receiving yards in every contest.

A truly elite receiver, Jefferson should easily be started in every format.

Tyreek Hill (MIA) vs. Texans

After a slow start to the season, Hill has burst onto the scene in the last three weeks with 21 receptions for 352 yards and three touchdowns, including a 12-catch, 188-yard, and two-score performance in Week 8.

With Will Fuller done for the season and Tua Tagovailoa reportedly set to return, Hill is in line for another big week.

Cooper Kupp (LAR) vs. Cardinals

Kupp has been the most consistent and reliable receiver in fantasy all season. Through eight games, he has only failed to reach 100 scrimmage yards one time and has scored at least one touchdown in every contest.

With the Cardinals allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers, Kupp is a must-start option.
