Veterans Day 2023 in Fort Walton Beach, Miramar, Florida
A Day of Remembrance and Honor
Join us for a special Veterans Day ceremony at the Miramar Beach Amphitheater on Friday, November 11, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
The ceremony will feature guest speakers, patriotic music, and a wreath-laying ceremony to honor and remember the brave men and women who have served our country.
Following the ceremony, there will be a free lunch for all veterans and their families at the nearby American Legion Post 331. Lunch will be served from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
We encourage all community members to attend this special event and show our support for our veterans. They have sacrificed so much for our freedom, and we are eternally grateful for their service.
Veterans Day Events in Fort Walton Beach, Miramar, Florida
In addition to the ceremony at the Miramar Beach Amphitheater, there will be several other Veterans Day events in Fort Walton Beach, Miramar, and the surrounding area.
- The Fort Walton Beach Veterans Day Parade will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2023, at 10:00 AM. The parade will start at the corner of Beal Parkway and Eglin Parkway and will proceed down Eglin Parkway to the Fort Walton Beach Welcome Center.
- The Navarre Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at the Navarre Beach Park on Saturday, November 12, 2023, at 11:00 AM. The ceremony will feature guest speakers, patriotic music, and a wreath-laying ceremony.
- The Destin Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at the Destin Harbor Boardwalk on Saturday, November 12, 2023, at 11:00 AM. The ceremony will feature guest speakers, patriotic music, and a wreath-laying ceremony.
Ways to Honor Veterans on Veterans Day
There are many ways to honor veterans on Veterans Day, including:
