Palm Bay Police Searching for Suspect After Machete Attack

Police are currently searching for a suspect who attacked a man with a machete in Palm Bay.

The incident occurred on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at approximately 10:30 p.m. in a residential area of Palm Bay.

The victim, a 35-year-old man, was walking home from work when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect, who was wearing a mask, demanded the victim's money.

When the victim refused, the suspect pulled out a machete and struck the victim several times in the head and body.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. He is currently in stable condition.

The suspect fled the scene on foot.
