Israel Stalls IDF Rescue Mission After Dutch Government Cancel Request
Jerusalem Backtracks On Plans To Send Soldiers To Netherlands
The Israeli government has announced it will no longer be sending an IDF rescue mission to the Netherlands, after the Dutch government withdrew its request for assistance.
The decision to send the mission was made after the Dutch government requested aid in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake that hit the country on Monday.
The IDF had already begun preparing to deploy a team of soldiers to the Netherlands, but the mission was called off after the Dutch government said it was no longer needed.

The IDF has expressed disappointment at the decision to cancel the mission, but said it is ready to provide assistance if needed.
In a statement, the IDF said it is "committed to providing humanitarian assistance to those in need, and we stand ready to assist the Dutch government if requested."
