Idaho Offense Fades in 79-75 Loss to UC Davis
Vandals Struggle to Find Rhythm in Second Half
MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Vandals' offense went cold in the second half as they fell to UC Davis 79-75 on Saturday afternoon. The loss drops Idaho to 4-10 on the season, while UC Davis improves to 6-7.
Idaho led by four points at halftime, but UC Davis came out of the break and quickly took control of the game. The Aggies went on a 12-0 run to open the second half, and they never trailed again.
Idaho cut the lead to three points with less than three minutes remaining, but UC Davis made its free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.
Balanced Scoring for UC Davis
UC Davis had four players score in double figures, led by TJ Shorts II with 20 points. Elijah Pepper added 17 points, while Josh Fox and Ezra Manjon each scored 11.
Idaho's Struggles
Idaho's offense struggled in the second half, shooting just 33% from the field. The Vandals also turned the ball over 11 times, which led to several easy baskets for UC Davis.
The Vandals were led by Brandon Boyd's 22 points and Caleb Martin's 14 points. Isaac Jones added 11 points.

Idaho will return to action on Tuesday, December 20, when they host San Diego State. UC Davis will host Pepperdine on the same day.
