Fort Walton Beach, Miramar Honor Veterans With Special Events On Veterans Day

The City of Fort Walton Beach will honor veterans with a special ceremony on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, 2023.

The ceremony will be held at the Fort Walton Beach Veterans Memorial Park, 102 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE, at 11 a.m. The event will include a guest speaker, the presentation of colors, a rifle salute, and the playing of taps.

The public is invited to attend. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair for seating.

Miramar's Events

The City of Miramar will host its annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Miramar Parkway and Red Road and will proceed west on Miramar Parkway to Flamingo Road.

The ceremony will follow the parade at the Miramar Cultural Center, 2400 Civic Center Place.
