Dakota Joshua Injury: Not Ready to Return

Blues Centerman Dakota Joshua Injured

St. Louis Blues centerman Dakota Joshua is not ready to return to the lineup after suffering an upper-body injury in Saturday's game against the San Jose Sharks. Joshua left the game in the first period after taking a hit from Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson.

Blues head coach Craig Berube said Monday that Joshua is day-to-day and will be re-evaluated later this week. The Blues are hoping that Joshua will be able to return to the lineup for their next game on Friday against the Minnesota Wild.

Joshua's Injury a Blow to Blues

Joshua's injury is a blow to the Blues, who are already without several key players due to injury. Vladimir Tarasenko, Pavel Buchnevich, and Brandon Saad are all currently out of the lineup. The Blues have also been without defenseman Torey Krug for the past two games due to an upper-body injury.

Joshua has been a solid contributor for the Blues this season, scoring four goals and adding five assists in 27 games. He has also been a key member of the Blues' penalty kill unit.

Blues Hopeful for Quick Return

The Blues are hopeful that Joshua will be able to return to the lineup soon. The team has been struggling to score goals in his absence, and his return would provide a much-needed boost to the offense.

The Blues are currently in fourth place in the Central Division with a record of 18-13-3. They are three points behind the first-place Minnesota Wild.
