Arjun Kapoor Says 'Singham Again' Came To Him During The 'Worst Phase Of My Life'

Arjun Kapoor is all set to roar again as the fierce cop Bajirao Singham in Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again'. The actor, who will be seen alongside Ajay Devgn in the film, recently opened up about how the project came to him during a difficult time in his life.

In an interview with a leading daily, Arjun revealed that he was going through a "dark phase" when he got the offer for 'Singham Again'. He had recently lost his mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, and was struggling to cope with the loss.

"I was going through the worst phase of my life when Rohit called me and offered me 'Singham Again'. I was not in the right frame of mind, but he convinced me to do the film," Arjun said.

Arjun further praised Rohit Shetty for his unwavering support during that difficult time. He said, "Rohit has been a pillar of strength for me. He has always been there for me, both personally and professionally. He is like a brother to me."

Arjun also expressed his gratitude to Ajay Devgn for agreeing to share screen space with him in the film. He said, "Ajay sir is a legend. I am so grateful to him for giving me this opportunity. I have learned a lot from him on set."

'Singham Again' is slated to release in theaters on August 15, 2023.
