Asia XI to feature top players from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan

The Afro-Asia Cup is set to return after a nine-year hiatus, with a one-off T20I match between Asia XI and Pakistan scheduled to be played in March 2023. The match will be played in Dubai, and will feature some of the biggest names in Asian cricket. The Asia XI team will be captained by India's Virat Kohli, and will also feature the likes of Babar Azam (Pakistan), Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh), Angelo Mathews (Sri Lanka), and Rashid Khan (Afghanistan). The Pakistan team will be led by Babar Azam, and will include the likes of Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, and Haris Rauf. The Afro-Asia Cup was first played in 2005, and was contested between teams representing Asia and Africa. The tournament was discontinued in 2014, but has now been revived by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The ACC has not yet announced the full schedule for the Afro-Asia Cup, but it is expected that the match between Asia XI and Pakistan will be played in the third week of March. The match will be a one-off T20I, and will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
